Your Free Retirement Checkup™

Step 1 - Schedule a Call

In our 15-minute call, we’ll learn more about you and your situation to ensure you're a good fit for our areas of expertise. You wouldn’t see a neurologist for elbow pains, would you?

If we aren’t a good fit for some reason, we’ll happily provide you with a few firms that might better meet your needs.

Step 2 - Get to Know Each Other

Before we provide any recommendations, we’ll meet with you (virtually or in office) to identify where you want to go in retirement.

Prior to the meeting, you’ll fill out two forms and provide us with a few important documents. This information helps us perform our analysis of your financial situation and develop recommendations.

After this meeting is complete, we’ll give you one of our favorite books (for free) for you to read while we’re completing your financial assessment.

Step 3 - Analyze and Evaluate

Next up, we will review everything you told us in our meeting along with everything you provided to us to give the answers to these critical questions:

  1. Are you on track for your financial and retirement goals?
  2. Where can we save you money (investment fees, taxes, insurance, etc.)?
  3. Are your investments right for you and how can they be improved?

Step 4 - Review the Assessment

Here’s where things really get fun! In this meeting, you’ll get your financial assessment results and learn exactly how prepared (or unprepared) you are for retirement. We’ll also give you actionable steps needed to reach your financial goals.

At the end of this meeting, you’ll probably know if we’re the right firm for you, but it’s okay if you’re not sure. We’re absolutely 100% pressure-free. We’ll give you all the information and time you need to think about it.

Step 5 - Think It Over

At NextGen Wealth, we work with clients long-term. We’re way more concerned about relationships than sales or revenue. It’s critical that you take all the time you need.

We’ll typically follow up in a week or so to answer additional questions or schedule a follow-up meeting. No pressure, we just need to know if we need to keep your spot open or not.

If we’re not a good fit, no hard feelings. We don’t take it personally at all. We want you to feel comfortable and have a great experience whether you become a client or not.

Step 6 - Let's Get Started!

Thank you so much for putting your trust in us! We are happy and honored to be working with you. Before we get to the fun stuff, we’ll touch base, go over the next steps, and give you a timeline for the next 12 months.

We can’t wait to get started with your Client Onboarding Process!

How Do I Know If I’m a Good Fit?

We provide the most value when you are 100% committed to our financial planning process. Our typical clients are:

Individuals who are within 5 years of retirement (or thereabouts) and understand the importance of working with a Certified Financial PlannerⓇ.

Committed savers who have already accumulated at least $750,000 in investable assets.

Someone who knows when it’s time to call in a professional because they value family time in their lives as opposed to managing personal finances and investments

Still Have Questions?  Let Us Answer Them

How Does Nextgen Wealth Get Paid?

Our fees are based on the assets we manage for you. Our fees are completely transparent and listed on your quarterly statements.

We don’t charge commissions. We believe our fees should be aligned with your best interests. We deliberately chose to eliminate the conflicts of interest inherent in commission-based advisor models.

The fees on your statement are the only fees we accept at NextGen Wealth. The fee encompasses every service we provide for you including investment management, financial planning, retirement planning, and everything in between.

Note:  Most of the investments we use (mutual funds and exchange-traded funds) have internal expenses within them. We always select the best-performing investments possible while also keeping these unavoidable fees at a minimum to save you money. We don’t receive any of these fees.

The less you pay for the same service, the more you get to keep in your pocket!

What Makes Your Different from Other Financial Advisors?

There are four main factors that distinguish us from other financial advisors:

  1. We do comprehensive financial planning. Many advisors manage your investments and that’s it. We go so far beyond just basic investment management. We also handle cash flow analysis, retirement planning, insurance reviews, tax saving strategies, estate planning, and any other financial need we identify.
  2. We are a fiduciary 100% of the time. We put your interests above our own and eliminate all conflicts of interest we possibly can.
  3. We invest in industry-leading technology to ensure our clients have an extremely efficient financial life.
  4. We only take on a maximum of 8 clients each year to ensure you and all our current clients always get the time and service you all deserve.
Do You Offer An Hourly Rate Or Do Individual One-Time Projects?

No. Our focus at NextGen Wealth is on long-term relationships.

We provide the most value by establishing long-term relationships with our clients. The world is changing constantly, so we’re constantly making sure nothing gets missed.

If you’re unsure if comprehensive financial planning is right for you, please contact us to see if we’re a good fit. Otherwise, we are happy to provide you with options for hourly or project-based planners.
