  • Step 1 - Schedule a Call

    In our 15-minute call, we’ll get to learn more about you and your situation to ensure that you're a good fit for our expertise. Let’s face it, you wouldn’t see a Neurologist if you’re elbow was hurting.

    If for some reason we aren’t a good fit, then we will happily provide you with a few firms who might better meet your needs.

  • Step 2 - Get to Know Each Other

    Before we can make any recommendations or provide any solutions, we first have to know where you’re currently at in your financial life.

    So, we always want to have our Get to Know Each Other Meeting in our office or virtually to make sure we know exactly where you’re at and where you’re wanting to go.

    Before this meeting, we will have you fill out two forms and provide us with a few important documents. This information will drive our analysis and recommendations.

    Plus, after this meeting is complete I will give you one of my favorites books for you to read (for free, of course) while we are creating and completing your financial assessment.

  • Step 3 - Analyze and Evaluate

    Next up, we will review everything you told us in our meeting along with everything you provided to us to give the answers to these critical questions:
    1. At your age, are you currently where you should be for your financial and retirement goals?
    2. Are there areas in your financial life where we can save you money i.e. investment fees, taxes, insurance, etc.?
    3. Are you in the right investments and how can they be improved?
  • Step 4 - Review the Assessment

    Once our analysis is complete, we’ll have our next meeting to go over the results.

    We’ll show you exactly where you’re at along with what changes you may need to make in order to reach your financial goals.

    When we’re finished, you’ll have a very good idea if we’re the right firm for you or if you need a little more time to think it over. I can 100% say there will be absolutely no pressure to make a decision or to persuade to work with us in any way.

  • Step 5 - Think It Over

    At NextGen Wealth, we work exclusively with clients on a long-term basis. We’re not trying to simply sell you something. That’s why it’s so important you take as much time as you need.

    Here are a few questions that should help in your decision-making process:

    1. Do I like and trust who I’ll be working with at NextGen Wealth?
    2. Does the value being provided outweigh the costs?
    3. Does the NextGen Wealth financial planning process and investment philosophy make sense for what it is I’m trying to accomplish?
    4. Will I be treated like a real person and friend or just a revenue stream?

    Take as much time as you need but we’ll typically follow up in a week or so to answer additional questions or schedule a follow-up meeting. All that we do ask is you let us know one way or the other.

    If we’re not a good fit though, no hard feelings at all. We definitely don’t take it personally and are more than happy to help you find someone who might be a better fit. I can assure you we’re not going to make you feel uncomfortable or try to change your mind.

How Do I Know If I’m a Good Fit?

We provide the most value when you are 100% committed to our financial planning process. Our typical clients are:

Individuals who are within 10 years of retirement (or thereabouts) and understand the importance of working with a Certified Financial PlannerⓇ.
Committed savers who have already accumulated at least $500,000 in investable assets.
Someone who knows when it’s time to call in a professional because they value family time in their lives as opposed to managing personal finances and investments

How Does Nextgen Wealth Get Paid?

We are a fee-based financial planning firm. Our fees are based on the amount of assets we manage for our clients. Best of all, they are completely transparent on your quarterly statement.

We do not charge commissions because we believe that is a conflict of interest. We recommend what is right for our client’s best interest and not what’s based on the amount of commissions we receive...hence why we don’t accept commissions.

There is no other fee that we charge. The fee that you see on your statement is the only fee that we accept at NextGen Wealth. This fee encompasses every service we provide for our clients including investment management, financial planning, retirement planning, etc.

Note that depending on the investments we use (mutual funds and exchange traded funds) that there are internal expenses within these. We are very cognizant of these and do our best to be as fee conscious as possible.

Let’s face it, the less you have to pay someone else, the more you get to keep in your pocket.

What Makes Your Different from Other Financial Advisors?

There are four main factors that distinguish us from other financial advisors:

  1. We do comprehensive financial planning. We don’t just manage your investments and that’s it. We handle cash flow analysis, retirement planning/projections, investment management, insurance, taxes, estate planning, etc.
  2. We are a fiduciary 100% of the time. There is never a conflict of interest and we put our client’s interest above all others.
  3. We invest in industry-leading technology to ensure our clients have an extremely efficient financial life.
  4. We only take on a certain amount of clients each year to ensure every client gets the time and service they deserve.
Do You Offer An Hourly Rate Or Do Individual One-Time Projects?
Our focus at NextGen Wealth is on long-term relationships. With that being the case, we do not currently offer hourly rates or one-time projects.

We have found that having established long-term relationships with our clients ensures we’re always on the same page.

However, if you are looking for someone who is hourly or does one-time projects, you are welcome to contact us and we are happy to provide you with someone who might be a good fit.
