Get To Know Each Other Meeting

At NextGen Wealth, we like to call your first appointment our "Get To Know Each Other Meeting."  It's a great way for us to get to know you on a personal level and vice versa.  Of course we want to learn as much as we can about your financial situation and how we can help, but it is also important we get to know each other on a personal level and make sure it's a good fit for the both of us.

In preparation, we ask that you fill out the following and get back to us prior to your first appointment:

Comfort Level Questionnaire - This will give us an idea of how much risk you are willing to accept when it comes to investing.

Client Information Worksheet - This will provide us needed personal information (please only complete what you are comfortable filling out). Once the pdf opens in your browser, you will want to save it locally to your computer (or wherever you would like to save it). You will then reopen the pdf from where you saved it, fill out the information and then send it back in an email.

We also ask that you bring any statements you would like us to take a look at during that first meeting.  This could include, but is not limited to, 401k statements, IRA statements, trust accounts, insurance coverage, etc.  While we do not want to get into too much detail at our Get To Know Each Other Meeting, we also need to have a broad overview of your current situation, so we are able to formulate a plan from there.

Next Steps

At the conclusion of our meeting, we will have an understanding on the types of services that are appropriate for your current situation - Investment Management, Hourly Financial Planning, 360° Financial Plan or a combination. If we are to complete any hourly financial planning services, you will be presented with an estimate of the amount of hours it will take to put together your Personalized Financial Vision Statement (view our hourly rates by clicking here). If this makes sense for you and we are a good fit for each other, we will then complete our Financial Planning Agreement

Once this is complete, you will then be given a copy of our Financial Planning Checklist, which will list all documents we need in order to complete your Personalized Financial Vision Statement.  While there are a number of things on this list, don't worry, as many of them may not apply to you.
